JMR Ventures focuses on providing quality rental property located close to campus for students attending any of the local universities in Kirksville, MO. Founded by Jim and Cathy Lewis whose son attended Truman State University stating in 2008. The goal of JMR Ventures is to provide safe and up-to-date housing within walking distance to class and on-campus activities. The properties are secured and maintained in the same manner I would expect to provide for my own son. Property issues are addressed immediately with concern for the safety, security, and life style of the tenant. All tenants are treated fairly, honestly and in a straight-forward manner. Talk to any of our renters (past or current) and you will see we consistently do what we say.

 

Our goal is to have a positive relationship with our tenants, any questions we answer immediately and to the best of our ability. Please call and talk to us if you are interested in what we have to offer or if as a first time renter you just need some advice. We will make it as convenient as possible for you to visit and assess the properties and us. Want to meet us in person, we can easily arrange for it in Kirksville or St. Louis.

 

Are you a parent, your son or daughter is moving out on their own for the first time? We are happy to talk with you and give you guidance on what to look for. While we are happy to work with and involve the parents, but we sign the lease directly with the students. Often this is the first time they have been out on their own and entered into a significant contractual relationship; it can be a time to learn some great lessons. This is likely the first real contract they will enter into and our goal is to provide them sound guidance and advice. We enjoy working with and educating them on what to look for, what they need to think about, and most importantly taking on responsibility for their commitments.
